- Select your user name from the Name: list.
- Select the current week from the Week: list.
- Enter your password in the Password: box.
- The first time that you enter picks, it does not matter what you have entered as your password. You will be prompted to change it. (You still have to enter something, it's simply ignored)
- If, at any time, you would like to change your password, check the Change Password box (you must still enter your current password)
- Entering an invalid password will require you to re-enter it.
- CUT-OFF Times:
- One (1) hour prior to the first game of the week
- For example, the first game of the week is Sunday @ 1:00pm, so picks are locked @ 12:00pm
- All times are Eastern Time
- NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
- Absolutely NO picks will be taken via phone or e-mail. It is the players responsibility to get their picks in on time.
- Once you have entered a valid password, 1 of 2 things will happen:
- If your picks for the selected week already exist, you will see:
- If the time is before the cutoff time, you will see a list of scheduled games for the selected week with your picks highlighted. You can make changes and re-submit at this point. If you get your picks in before the cutoff, do not make any changes, and the cutoff time is met, the picks that are on file are locked in as your picks for that week.
- If the time is after the cutoff time, you will see a list of everybody's picks, include Home/Away & Team breakdowns & a Scoreboard.
- If your picks do not exist for the selected week, a list of scheduled games for the selected week will be presented.
- Select the teams that you want (Winners only) and enter the total Monday night score.
- The visiting team is displayed first
- Monday Night Score is the total points scored by both teams. This is the tie-breaker.
- In the event of a tie game, the Home team will be considered the winner.
- After your picks have been recorded, your picks ONLY will be shown for your review.
- To see the Weekly or Yearly standings after a given week, select the week from the associated list and press the appropriate button.
- For each week, the weekly winner will be highlighted in bold and will also be scrolled across the top of the screen.
- The weekly winner is determined as the player having the most winning games for that week.
- In the event of a tie, the player having the closest Monday Night total will be declared the winner. Should more than 1 player have the same score value, then the weekly Applecart pot will be divided equally amongst those players.
- For example: the Monday night score was 46 points. Player A chose 44 for their score and Player B chose 48. The difference for both players is 2 points, so players A and B would split the Applecart for that week.
- The Yearly standings are totaled throughout the season. Of the 50 apple donation, 16 apples goes towards the end-of-the-season pot.Note: if a user is not considered a "Certified Buyer" by Paypal, Paypal charges a fee of approximately 3%. Therefore, of the 50 apples, only 48.5 apples is available. In this case, only 14.5 is available to the end-of-the-season pot. At the end of the season, the top 3 players will receive the following apple breakdown from this pot:
- First place: 60%
- Second place: 30%
- Third place: 10%
- Should more than 1 player be in contention for 1 of the top 3 places, then the pot is divided amongst those players equally.
- For example: Player A has 125 wins, Player B has 125 wins, and Player C has 124 wins. Player A and B will split the 1st and 2nd place apples, while Player C will receive the 3rd place apples.
I gotta make my picks now !!!!!!!!!!!
